What you need
- A printed Pack Builder pack per student
- A timetable card listing each page and its time
- A sealed envelope with the answer key
Puzzle tools used
All tools are free, with no sign-up, and every sheet can be printed with an answer key.
Step by step
- In Pack Builder, tick Math, Word Search, Maze and GK Quiz (adjust for age) and keep Include answer key on.
- Print the pack for each student and add a timetable card: Math 15 min, Word Search 10 min, Maze 10 min, Quiz 10 min.
- Put the key in a sealed envelope for the substitute, with instructions to use it only for checking.
- Add a short note for the substitute explaining the routine, quiet signals and where the pack sits.
- On your return, ask students to rate each page: Too easy / Just right / Too hard.
Differentiation
Support
Replace the quiz with Picture Matching or Coloring Pages and shorten the pack.
Extend
Add a 5 x 5 jigsaw (screen) and a Word Scramble for fast finishers.
